Help with FVCKIN Excel

I hate excel

for those that know how to use it, it is wonderful, but I am not one of those people

Everytime I enter a number it gives me the date

does anybody knwo why the hell this is

It is just on a single cell

right click

cell format and change the format of the cell to either general or number

populate them with what? the same number? or pulling data from other worksheets and linking them to a totals worksheet or something?

Not sure what you are exactly looking for but here are a couple ways to populate into a bunch of spreadsheets:

You can click on the tab on the first sheet your input is going to be typed into. Then press shift and click on the last tab you want data to be entered into. When you type in lets say A1 of the first sheet it will put the same data into all of the sheets up to the other tab you clicked on.

Also I would just say to create formulas linking all the spreadsheets together.
