I am not trolling so please don?t read my post as negative. Is it possible that vaccinated people are just as (or even more) to blame as the unvaccinated?

The reason I ask is because when people are vaccinated they can still become infected and because of the vaccine have no idea that they are contagious. Adding to that, for some reason it?s believed that if vaccinated then you no longer need a mask. Those two factors at least make it possible that the vaccinated are the real problem.

Again, I truly do not mean to cause issue or start an argument. I am really just trying to understand how the unvaccinated are causing more of a spread than vaccinated.

Have a great day and stay safe!

So, if you're vaccinated, you're the reason Covid is on the rise? Come on.

No. If everyone gets vaccinated, it's wiped out. If everyone doesn't, the virus is allowed to survive and mutate. Blaming the people that are doing their part to wipe the virus out doesn't make any sense.

That is what I don't understand. From what I've read, the vaccine doesn't prevent infection. It greatly reduces the severity of the symptoms when infected. Keeping people alive and out of the hospital is a very good reason to get vaccinated. I just don't understand how that stops the spread. Are you saying that the vaccine prevents you from contracting the virus? I have not read that.

Just this week alone I've encountered two fully vaccinated people who have tested positive.

Once again, I want to say that I am truly trying to understand this. Please do not read a negative tone in my posts.

And save your breath if you want to come in here with politics or any snarky negativity.

Stay well guys.

The vaccine isn't 100% effective, so vaccinated people can contract it, but yes, they are likely to only have mild symptoms. It stops the spread when people that it is effective on keep from getting infected and spreading it. The only way to snuff it out is to vaccinate everyone possible which then restricts it's ability to jump from host to host.

Modern medicine has provided a path out of this, but........

The vaccinated if they happen to get the virus are likely not shedding @ the contagious level. The unvaccinated are shedding at 1000x multiple compared to vaccinated.

It's enough already.

You're vaccinated and need medical assistance you get it.

You're not vaccinated and need medical attention go fuck yourself and suffer at home.

No hospital should admit unvaccinated people at this point.

You've been given the chance to protect NOT ONLY YOURSELF BUT EVERYONE AND END THIS SHIT!

FUCK YOU.

If you get the Delta or any of the coming variants then you chose your path.
