"the bunker"
i was hoping for 9.5.....but,i have to say i`m looking at the under here...i know...it looks too "right".....

with all the heated rhetoric.....all the accusations and insults...given the styles...the relatively equal size.... ..i just have to take a whack at the under in some way shape or form...

probably going to parlay it...don`t feel like laying almost 2-1...

sucker`s bet?...might be...that`s why i think i`ll par it....

one thing`s for sure...given his last few efforts,i expect darchinyan to be looking to take out arce in a hurry...and arce isn`t exactly floyd mayweather...he`s a come at you fighter....

i think in the end that vic`s awkward lefty style will make the difference and he`ll catch or beat down arce.....arce`s not really all that hard to hit...

but arce has a shot...if he can hit you,he can hurt you...

really looking forward to this one...

Actually, @+180 for over 8.5 rounds, I think thats the play.

Arce hasnt been stopped in a long time.

I also think that he is really taking this fight seriously, Mijares IMO wasnt at his best, +310 looks like a decent prize...

I played both small.

I took the under -165 8 1/2 and Vic -325 for max wagers. I believe Arce will come in in the best shape of his career. He REALLY want's this one but I don't see him pulling it off. He's been sliding for a couple yrs and he was fortunate to last 12 against Mijares. He took a beating in that fight and arguably lost 10 rds. Vic toyed with mijares. Arce had a few close calls since then as well. I don't attribute them to a lack of preparation. I believe his wars have caught up to him. He's got a punchers chance and a deadly liver shot if it lands but Vic is a tough nut to crack. He's very unorthodox, strong as an ox and hits like a fucking mule. It takes a sharpshooting counterpuncher to beat him and Arce is not. Arce is going to go right after him. I see it as a shoot out and Arce taking a bad beating til it's stopped around the 6th rd. Good luck on your over wager Z but I think that's a ballsy call. I'll be very surprised if this makes it to 9 rds.

I like Vic here. Arce is a shopworn and hasn't met anything this strong and with so many other tangibles since he was stopped by Carbajal nearly a decade ago. The O/U is a tough call because Arce will get hit plenty but he's still dead game, strong and is a very tough kid. I almost seethe O/U as a coin flip and the over has a decent price and with Arce's legendary toughness and determination it might be the right play.

I've been betting against Arce for a year now, and the little bastard keeps barely getting it done

I thought the Thailander Lookmahanak CLEARLY beat him....absolute robbery.
and
Concepcion had him last fight ! but HUGE balls, guts, and the Mexican crowd got Arce thru....by the skin of his teeth

finally i will get to cash in on the 7th. I will betting LARGE on Vic with a small hedge on Arce by KO (in my opinion the only way he wins).

Arce has looked like a very faded fighter the last few times out...I think Darchinyan starches him in a WAR

Fuk!!

I am going against most of the board again. I have taken Arce at +330.

I thought I saw something in the Vic/Mijares fight. In the last couple of rounds before the KO, it looked to me like Vic had been hurt to the body and was protecting his ribs.
If Vic thought Mijares punched hard to the body, wait until he gets a load of Arce's liver shot.

i`m not debating either guy`s toughness....

in these weight classes you don`t see all that many guys that are able to outwork or consistently overpower opponents...

these guys have been doing it their whole careers...they are what they are...i`m not sure that they`ve seen many guys that stand in the pocket with them...

it`s like they`ll be looking in the mirror...

lets not forget that the fight with carbajal was...that`s right,10 years ago....and at the verrry end of carbajal`s career(his last fight..that wasn`t vintage carbajal)......

darchinyan`s older...but not in boxing years...

gun to my head,i think the lefty stance and the awkwardness will eventually tell the story here...

i hate unders, but, the styles are the reason why i`ll play the under in a parlay...

how many times have we seen these aggressive styles facing one another in a fight at this level(talent and weight)?...really isn`t,historically,a puncher`s division...

last one i can recall is chiquita gonzales and carbajal(ricardo lopez was in his own league).....and i think the height differential in that one made it a little different...

i am literally salivating in anticipation of this one...

This isnt even gonna be close. Arce is overrated in my book. He could bring in that dancing horse and he still won't win. Darchinyan might even knock out the horse.

That bodyshot cost me and the crew a bit of money before.

Big Dog Rojas was beating Arce up for five rounds even more convincingly than i had anticipated winning every round until the sixth. Then Arce connects with his body punch and it is all over.

If i see Arce inside at crazy numbers i take a shot but for the time being i stick with the under.
I like Huck via dec at plus 525.
Varela at plus 225.
Magarito inside at 150.
I also have shane in a nice parlay as last link though if he outboxes Magarito its fine with me too. I believe Mosley has a real shot and i really respect his new trainer. He is not on the same level as Cotto offensive wise but he is tougher and has a better beard and stamina. That maybe the right mixture to make to the finish line.
And i dont believe in superchins everybody goes down if hit in the right spot. Look at Andrade he was taking everything Kessler throw at him but Mack had him out on his feet.
Maybe its not Arce but Shane who will surprise us with the bodyshot.
Good luck
