at this point they're saying it may not be terrorist related. we'll have to see.

i don't think it would be very easy for them to take over a plane again as the passengers would probably all risk their lives to stop them since they know what would probably be done now.

Don't think it's an act of a terrorist, we've had plane crashes from mechanical failures before and unfortunately will again. This particular model was noted for its high content of mechanical failures.

I was watchin some news channel on tv and they said that AA has 35 of these planes around.

There is an inbuild security feature where if the airline computer finds that the airline is out of the set path it takes over and not even the pilot can override the computer. This is really bad and can be dangerous during takeoff and landing according to the news reporter and some pilot they were talking to.

Hopefully its a mechanical failure and God bless the vicitms families.

Am flying to NYC using American Airlines so god bless me also.

It should be obvious now, given the events of last few days, that a lot of the people of Afghanistan hate the Taliban as much as we do. They have suffered due to the Taliban and are now celebrating in their fall and retreat. Instead of blowing them all off the map as you would have us do, it looks to me like we have helped a lot of people.
