Hey Buddy, long time. I saw your post on my USC thread last week. What a terrible output for the offense. Pathetic. Penalties, missed field goals, blocked extra points - nothing's changed but the weather!
I took a gander at your record a couple weeks ago in the NCAA and you were up 28 units. You must have been looking at my play sheet since then - I can't hit the ocean from a boat right now.
What's your thinking about tonight? I like the over but last year's over run on MNF scares me a little. It was like 15/17 went over and the public loves the over. The Broncos didn't play a single game at Mile High last year under this total - including games against powerhouse offenses like Atl, Cle, SD and New England. Add in the new stadium and MNF and it looks like an over.
The news of Sehorn not playing also helps.
As for side, I may lay off and just enjoy seeing points put on the board. Leaning towards Denver -7. I would love to tease that to 1 and o38, but haven't decided yet. Actually, I'm thinking of doing something I never do - tease Den to -1 and Oak to -2 next week v. Jets. Can't imagine letting a bet have action that long, but I don't think the Jets can stay with the Raiders.
Giants were a poor super bowl team, but I think the Falcons and the Chargers take the cake as worst SB team lately. They are really hurt at WR position. I have no idea how they stay within 7, which is exactly why I doubt I'll lay it. Looks too easy. You hear it all the time - well, the public has to win sometime? Giants put up 17 somehow, Den definitely puts up 27 - smells like an over to me. Lot of dogs yesterday, lots of unders. Call me Joe Public, I like Den and the over - but especially the over.
