I saw a line off shore at one of your preferred books for Friday NBA. The line was Det +3 vs GS. I bet 500 on Det. An hour later there was a stop on my acct and they wanted me to call them. When I called they told me that they cancelled my bet because they made a mistake on the posted line. Whats up with that? That wouldn't happen once I had my ticket in Vegas.Doesn't seem like a good business decision.

the correct line was -3 so they cancelled the bet. all books do the same. they want you to call because they want to know if you took a shot at them or innocently made the bet. books don't like shot takers and could boot you for it.

Hey Jack

I have too much class to take a shot at anyone. Did you notice that I didn't mention their name? I'm a high school baseball coach and I never dress my players down in front of the team when they screw up. Anyway I'm 52 today so wish me a happy birthday and Best wishes to you and your family.

happy birthday, man. i turned 50 in march. ugh!

a lot of people think if a book posts a line it should be good but the real rules are; if they post a bad line/mistake, they can cancel all bets.

as long as they cancel the bets BEFORE the game, i have no problem with it.

also, when they have mistake lines, people are always taking advantage of the bad line. the books are skeptical of all scams because they get hit all the time, in every direction. not saying you were taking a shot but the book has to believe you are.

know what i mean?

good luck
