Even if you had 1 million quarters, you still would be unable to beat Dragon's Lair.

Anytime you look at rankings of the toughest arcade games of all time Dragon's Lair will always be in the Top 5. Yes some would say Sinistar, Ghosts 'N Goblins, Robotron, Tempest, R-Type and some others are there.

But in my opinion, the toughest arcade game of all time is Dragon's Lair.

When i was 12 I learned to beat this game. It was my greatest and most fulfilling accomplishment in life. Living has been pointless ever since.


Only took me 37 years to see how this game ended. Otherwise I would've needed to spend 1.4 million quarters to get there back in '83. Thanks!


I remember putting a dollar into this arcade back in 1992. I lost in 2 seconds.

That game was a genius design. I remember putting several quarters into that thing myself. It frustrated me to no end so I stopped playing.
