Well Iowa St certainly has not been doing well of late. On a 6 game losing streak and Tech is coming of a loss to Nebraska, that you know Knight was pissed about.

But also factor in that Vegas has probably figured out that Tech was a better team then they, or pretty much anyone else thought they were. So this line may be a little inflated.

I agree I think 8 or 9 would be a better number. In Iowa States 6 game losing streak their average margin of loss is about 6 points.

Iowa St. also slows the game down somewhat which can make the higher numbers tougher to cover.

I think the line is a little too high, but the only other time Tech lost to a team they should have beat (Sam Houston) they came back and won by 25 against UTEP. And thats not a very good judge.

I certainly don't think Iowa St is the play as Knight will have been pounding into the Tech players the need to sustain their edge to keep their ranking and they play well at home.

Not many books have the line out so maybe they're testing the waters with the 12. If it comes down a point or two, I'd lean to Tech otherwise probably a Pass!

how bout a neutral opinion on the Red River war in Austin tomorrow........should be a blood bath on that court and i think it will be an understatement to say it will be a physical game.....

UT has been playing poorly as of late and I think I am on OU at a pickem........

OU has not been playing that well as of late though......i ama little hesitant.....think they may be wearing down a bit.......but UT has really been playing bad though......but will be up for this one especially on home court against Sooners......be careful

I think if you add Owens back to our lineup it would solve our two most glaring problems: Youth and Offensive Consistency. We simply have no go-to guy. What has added to the problem on O is the success team's have had lately preventing TJ from creating easy buckets for his teamates. He must develop an outside shot. Until he does, he'll turn it over as often as he makes something happen.

I think the key for UT might be putting the clamps on Quannas White. Price, Ere and McGhee have all taken about the same number of shots in B12 games... that tells me that trying to stop all three will be very difficult. Much better to try to frustrate the guy distributing the ball.

Price is playing incredibly well... 51 percent on FGs in league play! Price will get his pts. regardless. This OU team is very good and I don't really like our chances given the kind of ball we've been playing.

Ah forget it, I'll finish this up tomorrow....I'm too damn tired too even think right now.
