Phoenix, this game is quite tricky...

1) N.E already BEAT Indy in N.E
= POSSIBLE REVENGE for INDY.

2) INDY lost a tough game last week to Oakland, so they might be fired up to destroy N.E ALL-OUT.

3)N.E beat S.D last week and may be ripe for a let-down in this game....

4) inter-division games betwen the AFC east are usually close, no matter what the circumstances dictate....

5) N.E has covered ATS in the last 4 games between the two squads.

if someone put a gun to my head, i'd say, take N.E and the +10.5 points.

With Tom Brady at the helm for N.E, it seems like they are a different team, and i'm gonna bet on him until they lose....

thanks for the thoughts guys. You break this game down well. I agree, Indy NEEDS to win this game and would LIKE to destroy NE for what they did to them a few weeks back. The big question is, are they ABLE to do that? I have never bought on that Indy is as good of a team as the public views them as. They are good and can win some games in the clutch, but plain and simple they are overrated. Thats why we get NE + 2-3 scores in what could very well play out to be another close divisional rivalry.

I liked NE + 10.5 when I asked your opinion and I still like them enough to make a play on them. Won't be so bold as to call for a ML upset but it would be nice since many people have Indy in my suicide pool.

Another factor calling for a play on NE is a little system I have been playing on the side. In my 3-2-1 pool (everyone makes 3 picks v spread for 3,2 & 1 point) it has paid to go against two things. 1) the consensus & 2) a certain player. Over a season, both of these plays hit 60% or more.

This weeks consensus:

3 - GB
2 - Tenn
1 - TB

Player:

3 - Indy
2 - Chi
1 - TB

Kinda makes Pitt look attractive.....

anyways thanks again and good luck today
