Boxed on a Tuesday night fight card at The Hilton in Vegas. Wasn't he at least a decent UFC guy?. Last night, I wouldn't have been suprised if told the ref, timeout and sat on the canvas to eat a bowl of pasta. The 270 lb dude had like..unathletic leg fat. He should have gotten the 4 round decision only because the other guy was afraid to punch, but the refs gave it to the other guy. Ricco-no suave.

Ricco is still a decent MMA guy, but has never really been a KO guy. He likes to submit people which is not an easy thing to get done in a boxing match so not shocked he didnt destroy a boxer.
He is 29-9 in MMA with only 8 by KO. He has only been KO'd twice though.

A drug problem sent his career in a different direction of late.
You may have seen him on Celebrity Rehab.
Also he just had an MMA fight back on 6/27 and has another one coming up on 7/26.

Ricco seems to be fighting as much as possible. It seems like he's in every show he can fight in these days.(and still fat)

Wait...nevermind...he fought in that YAMMA PIT thingy....if memory serves me correctly he beat the president of the US in 1st round and then got smoked by Travis Wiuff.

And I am not making this up....he did beat George Bush in 1st round:mj07:

Guess he just slipped my mind.....hard considering he's so fat:142smilie

Say what you will about Ricco, but he was a solid fighter. He finished Couture,Monson,Arlovski,Buentello.
He got old and drugs/alcohol have not helped in the aging process.

Oh wow, I don't know much about UFC, but if he put away that list, especially Couture, definite respect and it's too bad he's ended up where he was last night, giving that 0-1 fighter his first win...

Interested to see Arlovski boxing match if it goes off in Sept on Casamayor undercard. Unlike Ricco, Arlovski has KO power and is in MUCH better shape.

He could make a solid boxer, but it is probably too late in his life to take it real serious. We call that Kimbo Slice Disease.(KSD)

Anyone remember Ricco trying to sell his UFC belt on the internet.
I was ready to step and buy it. I wonder if I would have been recognized as a former champ.:mj07:

Too bad he wanted 30K for it. I was willing to go up to $79.95
I didnt want to support Ricco's drug habit.
