If you Jones you have to take Souther Miss tonight. From a SOS perspective they had a more difficult season in a more difficult conference. They have an excellent (adequate) run defense that should key on Thomas and he is NT big threat. SM's QB scares me in that I am not sure whether Jekyl or Hyde will show up.

Neither of these teams are world beaters and have horrible records against good teams. NT did not win a game against a team with a winning record and SM only beat UAB.

That saiid they give it a good effort and can be fun to watch.

The biggest reason to bet on Souther Miss is found in JustWinBaby's thread....How can you bet on a team that got buried byu BAYLOR??

Granted, SM did play a more difficult schedule, but...

if you look at SM in the role of a favorite you may see them in a different light.

They lost four of their last five in this role to the closing number by double digits.

I'm takin' a shot with North Texas+.
