Wednesday thoughts...


1. BlueJays/Orioles OVER 9.0 [+105]

BIRD FIGHT

Carpenter is 6-0 on the road and 0-4 at home. Road ERA is 2.94. But record against Orioles in 8 games is 3-3 with a 5.98 ERA. Willis is 5-6 with 5.66 ERA, coming of a 3 inning game against the Phils where he gave up 9 runs and 10 hits. He has not pitched against the BlueJays.


2. Phils -145 over Pirates

Dahl is 7-1 with 4.09 ERA, coming off a short, bad game against Orioles, yielding 6 earned runs and 9 hits in 4 & 2/3. Dahl is 4-2 against Pittsburgh, should bounce back against Bucs. Arroyo is inconsistant at best, and Phillies struggling to stay in first gives them incentive. I see no brooms in this series.
