I went through HL about 10 years ago...... They say if you are going to get Cancer this is the one you want..... Went through 8 cycles of ABVD Chemo (had Port Catheter installed in chest).. The chemo kicked my tail near the end (had no energy, hair fell out everywhere). Followed with 24 Rads (after about the 10th treatment it felt like I was swallowing razor blades (lost 10 lbs cause couldn't swallow anything).... The only decent thing was they gave me some cool pain medication. I will say a prayer for your friends son.
