There is no way in hell he should have walked away from that. I bet he could sell those shoes on ebay for a pretty penny to some xgame fan.
For any of you who haven't seen this on tv, there is a better shot I'll try to find that truely shows how high he was.

F ing amazing I was there and still cannot believe it.
Took my boys and shock is the only way to describe it. The whole arena went silent for about three to four minutes then started chanting Jake for him to get up. Watching in real time and the sound when he hit I literally thought it was his leg flying off his body or his knee pads the height he fell from when you are there is just crazy. I cannot believe he got up I seriously thought he would be paralyzied or had died.

Backcracker, that is definitely cool to say you where there to see it(because he walked away). That will be a story for a lifetime for your kids.
I can't stand X-Games stuff and wasn't paying much attention when it came on Sportscenter. So I just casually glanced up when they mentioned "shocking" or some similar verb. The guy goes up in the air and I notice he loses the board. I'm just thinking, "Wait... he's not really gonna fall that far, is he? They wouldn't show that, would they?" I was just stunned. I mean, people commit suicide by jumping from distances shorter than that. Looked like a bomb went off the way the shoes shot out on his landing.

The view from the opposite side is the one where you can really see his shoes explode off of his feet. He barely caught some slope, I think that is what changed it some. Maybe 1% of the slope :SIB
thats how high that broad from the Philippines was. Cost me like eight bucks to get her to do that......really wasn't that bad either.
What I found amazing is the force that his head snapped both forward and backward. I slowed it down and watched it and I am truly amazed that he is still alive.
I don't usually watch the X-Games but I wanted to see the one guy attempt the double backflip on the Moto Best Trick. He was pretty lucky also that he wasn't more seriously injured.

I believe he fuked up his lungs internally a bit. So lucky to walk away, believe it or not, he may be back in action today
If he goes again in these xgames he's truely got balls of steal. He's also an idiot but I'll give him the balls of steal as well.
