I thought Iowa State had the toughest schedule in the country, but USC can probably top it. It seems like Bill Snyder's teams always have to overcome a bunch of mistakes in big games. I'll take a chance here on the signs that Pete Carroll, Carson Palmer and the Men of Troy have had designs on being a cut above what they have been in order to avoid oblivion.
