The wife has requested that we get a home security system that includes 3 or cameras for the outside. Anyone have any insight or recommendations?

I've found the reviews on Amazon to be very helpful on items like this. Search Amazon for home security and sort by "average review" and look at the pros/cons.
As far as us recommending one, what do you want it to do? Just record what is going on outside or do you want to be able to view from your phone, do you want it motion activated, stuff like that?

Yes, motion activated when it is turned on. Able to view from phone. Looking for a system, and a device. Comcast seems to be reasonable, but I have been told they use a lot of wire, and would be thieves are able to dis-arm that system. I have looked at ADT, and Simplisafe. Looking for others.
