I'm Looking to buy a home theater package. Just got the big screen but still need surround sound receiver and speakers (hoping to buy the satellites and subwoofer).
Any suggestions? I've gone to 3 stores and each tried to sell me what they considered "the best" although I think it was just their most expensive.
Brands I was shown for speakers were JBL, Harman Kardon, Polk Audio, Bose and Yamaha
Brands I was shown for receivers were Sony, Harman Kardon, Onkyo and Yamaha
Any help would be appreciated. Room it's going in is about 500 square feet
