Round 1 play (6pts):

Joong-Kyung Mo to beat John Parry -110 @ 5Dimes
Opposing Parry who has struggled with form over the last four months - a best finish of 44th over that period - and shot 76-72 in his one previous attempt on this course. Mo has been a regular in this event, making the cut in six of eight attempts and has shown good form on the Asian PGA and OneAsia Tours in recent months. This will be the ninth time that these two have played in a common event in Asia and Mo looks a good price to extend his run of never shooting the higher rd1 scores in those common events.

Round 2 plays (4pts):

Shiv Kapur to beat Anirban Lahiri +100 @ Bet365
Two players in good form, but it is Kapur who looks more likely to improve his position over the next three rounds. He had been in a very good position, but two double-bogeys in the last four holes meant that his score was not a true reflection of his play. The other reason to with Kapur is Lahiri's previous record on this course: mc, mc, 55th in his three visits.

Sung Kang to beat Gaganjeet Bhullar -110 @ 5Dimes
Bhullar won the Indonesia Open last week and his opening 74 may be a reaction to that. Just is likely is the fact that he has missed the cut in three of four previous visits to Hong Kong GC. Kang is making his course debut, but the Web.com player has won his last two starts. I'll back him to improve in rd2.

Round 3 plays (4pts):

Shiv Kapur to beat Jbe Kruger -110 @ Stan James
Take away Kapur's double-bogeys at the end of rd1 and he would be well clear of the field after rd2. As it stands, Kruger leads and while the death of Nelson Mandela may have been a spur to his performance today, it will be a very different matter tomorrow when trying to defend a lead. In the four previous times that he held the 36-hole lead in a Tour event, not only has he failed to win, but he hasn't even held onto the lead for one more round.

Prom Meesawat to beat Wade Ormsby -125 @ Stan James
Opposing another player who has done poorly when at the top of the leaderboard: Ormsby who is 3rd after 36 holes. In the five times that he has been inside the top-5 after 36 holes this year, he has shot 77-74-74-73-72 in rd3. Given that he was in poor form in the run-up to this event - missed cuts in his last two events - he may struggle to stay here unlike Meesawat who has finished 10th and 2nd in his last two starts.

Round 4 plays (4pts):

Anirban Lahiri to beat Jyoti Randhawa -115 @ 5Dimes [available generally]
Both players in 15th place and only five shots off the lead, but Lahiri should be the more likely to challenge from this position. He ranks 361 places higher than his opponent in the World Rankings and in his last six events, he has finishes of 2nd, 2nd, and 6th.

David Lipsky to beat Unho Park -125 available generally
Two players in 10th place and that is very surprising for Park for two reasons: (i) he has played in this event in each of the last eight years and made the cut just once - he finished 53rd in 2008; and (ii) only one player has hit less greens in regulation so far this week. LIpsky has played much better and has shown enough form in the last two Asian PGA Tour events to suggest that he should play better than Park tomorrow.
