Actually,Piazza hurt the Padres chances to score as much as the pitching of Reed and co.
Going into the game Piazza had thrown out only 7 of 34 base runners this year !! He threw out 1 in the 4th and 1 in the 8th !!!
Gotta keep pluggin away.
