Quick Notes and Quotes:

You know things aren't going well when the Suns are not even a month into their season and they're talking about "turning points" and "must-win games."
But that's about where the Suns stand going into tonight's game at KeyArena against the Seattle SuperSonics. They are 3-4, despite playing only one team that qualified for last season's playoffs.
"Even though it's early, we've got to make something happen," guard Penny Hardaway said. "We're really disappointed because we play really hard in practice.
It's a huge week for us. We've got a ton of games at home. We haven't capitalized, losing early to Houston and Denver. We have to beat the teams we should beat, and we haven't been able to do that. We're at home the next four out of five, and if we win at Seattle and all of them at home, everybody forgets about our 3-4 start. So this could be the turning point in our season right here."

There's a line forming for the injured list, starting with center Calvin Booth and forward Vin Baker.
"We've got a number of guys who could go on the list," McMillan said. "So, I don't think right now would be a good time to have cuts."
Both Booth and Baker received treatment yesterday. Baker also had X-rays on his bruised right knee. Results from the examination won't be available until today.
I'm not running and jumping at full capacity," said Booth after shooting hoops. "Even when I was playing at the start of the season, it wasn't really at full capacity. It's a nagging injury."
Everybody is really tired," said guard Desmond Mason. "We need the rest, but we need the win, also."
