"the bunker"
i thought he might start slow but for the first 4 rounds hopkins was in a coma....the fact that dlh didn`t run threw him....

thank god he came around....he was turning the tide at the time of the stoppage....

but,to be honest,i thought the scores were way out of whack...

79-73 and 78-74 were bad scores...i had hops up by a point or two....

i think these judges were overcompensating for their lousy scoring in the sturm fight....

hopkins, when he started to impose his will, was just naturally to big....as many of us suspected

but,up until the stoppage,i didn`t think he looked real sharp..........

i`m no tarver fan....but bernard doesn`t want to foolwith a big, hard hitting light heavyweight.....

totally agree GW...I can't believe it took Hopkins until the 7th round to get down to business. Seems like he could have bullied De La Hoya from the start if he wanted to. It almost seems like he bet on himself to win in round nine. I thought I heard him say that "this is the round". In any case, Oscar was a true champ and came ready to fight...much props to him. I feel lucky to have collected on my Hopkins by KO wager, not to mention Hopkins to win. I had the fight scored close to even in round 8 and thought that Hopkins had just started to pull away in the last 2 rounds.
