Just wondering if any horse players out there have used Pinnacle's new horse interface. Fantastic in my opinion. Pinnacle is one of the few books that will take bets up until post time - even a cutoff of three or two minutes just wont cut it if you play horses in my opinion. This only adds to their standing in my book. Any horse players out there, highly recommend checking it out.

Do they pay full track odds on every bet? I have never understood why anyone would play at an off-shore that caps payouts when there are plenty of US-based outfits that take horses and pay the track prices.

"Odds and Limits:

All wagers pay full track odds, including Trifectas, Superfectas, Pick 3's, and Pick 4's. "

---

"Rebates:

A rebate of 7% will be paid on all wagers on a DAILY basis. There are no minimum weekly volume requirements and there is no maximum on how much you can earn."

don't have an account there yet,but i understand it's 7% win or lose.carib gives 3%-5%.you can not afford to take advantage of this.7% can easliy mean the diff. of a win or loss for the year with pony's:D

Carib gives the rebate on your total losses only, right? An additional 7% on all wagers is exceptional and I am gonna give em some business simply for that. I still say they are asking for trouble with that offer and we'll see how long it lasts.

penguin-carib pays 3% on all wagers win or lose paid weekly.has monthly specials at 5% sometimes.thats all i know for sure.that's at least a free bet every week.i'm two hours from the o.t.b. or track, the state i'm in have only found one stateside book that will take wager's.the website sucks and they want way to much personal info.offshore is my only option and don't have to deal with i.r.s.only trust my $ in a couple of offshores carib being one.have never had a problem.

Dogfish, I have used Carib in the past, thanks for the correction. Just seems to me 7% is really high considering the off-shore places do not have the benefit of the takeout on their side, they have to count on losing players plain and simple, pretty risky in taking horse wagers if you ask me. Like I said, I'll give em a try for that incentive.

Penguin, there is a maximum payout cap ladder on the tracks that Pinnacle offers. Elite races $75,000 max win per race, then it ladders down to a $5000 cap at the small tracks. Go to Wagering Info, Horses to see the lists.

7% Daily rebate, win or lose. Pinnacle told one person who asked that they will put money in the pool on a case by case basis if they deem it necessary.

They implemented the 7% rebate a few months ago along with sponsoring obscene handicapping contests at trackchampion.

All the pari mutuel politics, who needs it... anyone else want to just beat their head against the wall with the magna signal stuff?

Bad thing about pinnacle is they have bad
betting system for tris and exacta. You cant for example bet a 1-4-267 in a tri without putting everyone in separate.

1-4-2
1-4-6
1-4-7

Then if you want to rotate

4-1-267 or 267-1-4 you would need to do them all separate. Other then that nice setup.
