I track runs scored per inning and it's helped me identify hot/cold hitting teams. Here's a chart (a bit hard to read) that identifies teams that are scoring more the last 10 games based on their total innings played.

through 6/5 games sorted by hottest bats last 10 games.

It reads like this for Chicago WS

1. Overall they score in 30% of their total innings played
2. In those innings scored (overall) 50% are multi-run innings
3. Last 5 games they score in 39% of their total innings played
4. Last 10 games they score in 40% of their total innings played

thank you for this! do u update weekly

No problem. I update daily, but remembering to post them is another thing. I'll try to post them every couple days at least.

They've been great identifying teams on the rise and decline and have also helped with my totals handicapping.

a suggetstion for how to use this info.
1st find a mean/middle avg. for the league.
whatever it may be that is your base.
then watch teams that have been extremely high in scoring. way over the base figure for , say 7 to10-games. once, identified then watch these teams in next 7-10 games and look to play against them as favs. or play unders if you have to high scoring teams going against each other.
and of course you would want to track the low scoring teams as well and look to play on them as dogs and play overs when the two are matched up against each other.
the thinking is ultimately they will return to the mean figure with some low or high scoring runs.
i would like to see how it works out, think it maybe profible but would need tracked for awhile.
