A red-hot versus ice-cold match-up tonight as the San Francisco Giants and Houston Astros complete a three game series at Pac Bell Park.

The Giants have won six straight to improve their record to 13-1 which equals the best start to a season by any team since the 1994 Atlanta Braves. Kirk Reuter gets the start tonight and he looks to continue a stellar opening to the season in which he is 2-0 with an ERA of just 0.96.

The Astros have now lost four straight to drop back to 7-6 this season. They committed four errors last night and simply do not play well at Pac Bell Park. Brian Moehler will be making his first career start against the Giants tonight and he is 0-0 with a 6.52 ERA through 9.2 innings of work this season. Overall in his career the right-hander is 19-31 on the road with an ERA of 4.86.

The Giants are 10-1 recently in this series and have outscored the Astros 67-35 during this time....in fact the last five times these teams have met at San Francisco the average score is Giants 6 vs. Houston 1.9.

While we rarely play heavy favorites tonight's line offers excellent value as we assess the Giants at -220.

Recommended Play: Giants -165
