ECU +1.5 -108 4 units and under 53.5 -108 2 units
I think you can throw out the stats in this game as these two teams have played drastically different schedules. ECU has played at Cincy, Wake Forest, and Miami and played at home against W. Virginia. All 4 of those teams are possible bowl teams IMO. Houston has played Rice, Michigan, UL-Lafayette, and Missisippi St. Rice, ULL, and MSU are probably among the top 10 worst teams in college football and Houston got manhandled my Michigan losing 50-3. Pirates have shown some improvement as they were relatively close to Miami at 17-3 after 3 quarters and they played a good WF team pretty well in their last game. I don't think Houston will score as many points as people think. Their QB struggled in both his road games with just 100 passing yards at Michigan and 157 yards at ULL. Houston is also very undisciplined and a heavily penalized team which could really hurt on the road if ECU gets any home field advantage. Besides his TD/INT ratio Robinson has been pretty good for the Pirates completing over 70% of his passes and I expect him to perform much better against a much lesser defense. I also think ECU will be able to control the ball with their running game against Houston and like them to get their 1st win here.
