Is anyone else looking at Houston in this game?
Philly is 16-20 SU this season and their record ATS is 17-18-1. The 76ers have won 5 of their last 10 games, both SU & ATS with losses to: Lakers, Nuggets, Jazz, Blazers, and the Magic. Philly is 1-3 ATS in their last four games against the Rockets. The 76ers lost their only match up this season SU 77-72 in a game that Francis dominated (without Iverson). Houston has also won three of the last four against the 76ers SU. In fact, the last time Houston came to Philly, the Rockets crushed the 76ers with a 112-87 win.
Houston is 2-0 ATS over their last two games. They covered by 4 ATS when they went to Utah and in their last game; the Rockets beat the Nuggets SU 98-86(Houston was a 6 point favorite in that game). Francis played 46 minutes, scoring 14 points with 7 assists.
The Rockets are not a powerhouse team by any means, but they really don't need to be because the 76ers are a slow team. Even with Iverson playing this time around, he will keep this game close but I don't see Philly covering the -8 spread. Philly's largest margin of victory in this series with or without Iverson is 1 point dating back to 1999.
Any and all feedback would be appreciated.
