JACK I KNOW YOUR FORUM IS FULL OF USED CAR SALESMAN SO I KNOW I AM GOING TO THE RIGHT PLACE TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION.I AM LOOKING TO TRADE IN MY 2003 TOYOTA TUNDRA I PAYED 27,500 TONIGHT I WENT TO A CHEVY DEALER AND HE TOLD ME HE WOULD GIVE ME 20 GRAND BUT THE OFFER IS ONLY GOOD FOR TONIGHT,I TOLD THE LITTLE GARLIC SNAPPER I NEEDED A DAY TO RUN IT BY MY FINANCIAL ADVISER LITTLE DID I KNOW IT WOULD BE MADJACKS FORUM.BOYS HERE ARE THE NUMBERS THE DEAL LOOKS GOOD TO ME BUT WHAT THE F-CK DO I KNOW I NEED ADVICE.

I BOUGHT THE TUNDRA FOR 27,500 IT HAS 34 THOUSAND MILES RUNS AND LOOKS NICE.I PUT DOWN 9 THOUSAND AND FINANCED THE REST I STILL OWE 9,200 ON THE TUNDRA.MY MONTHLY PAYMENT IS 414 DOLLARS.O.K. NOW THE CHEVY DEALER TELLS ME I CAN GET A 2005 SILVERADO Z71 FOR 25,000 LOADED HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT MY MONTHLY PAYMENTS WILL GO FROM 414 TO 358 DOLLARS AND I WILL HAVE A BRAND NEW PICK UP TRUCK.TO BE HONEST WITH YOU I DIDNT LIKE THE SALESMAN BUT THE DEAL SEEMED PRETTY GOOD.CAN SOMEBODY IN THIS FORUM TELLME HOW I AM GOING TO GET SCREWED IN THE LONG RUN BY THIS CHEVY DEALER.HURRY UP FELLAS I THINK THE GARLIC SNAPPER IS GOING TO BE CALLING ME TOMORROW.I ALSO KNOW THIS DEALER HAS A LOT FULL OF TRUCKS AND NOBODY IS LOOKING AT THEM I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE SHOWROOM AND I WAS SURROUNDED BY USED CAR SALESMAN MAN IT WAS SCARY,YOU TALK ABOUT A BUNCH OF VULTURES.

read ur contract before u sigh it, the saleman won't stick it to u and hard as a finance guy will, he will accidently add thousands of extra shit on hoping u don't notice to jack the payment. I bought a truck at a dealership where they tried that chit made the idiot reprint the contract 5 times be4 i signed it, it brougt down my payment by 50 bucks a month and a whole year shorter on payments, they were trying to fuk me hard. By the way the dealership is in greenfield chevy dealer for all the indiana residents, stay away!!

1st if anyone tells me offer is only good for day I know I'm being hustled.

My advice is your vehicle now is just barily broke in--why trade it?
Appears it will be paid off in a couple of years and still have only bout 60,000 miles at your current rate of driving and still in prime shape.Drive it 3 years after bout 100,000 mile total save the $414 payment and you'll have a trade in plus bout $15,000 to buy new one.

How bad are you getting fvcked is a relative term.
Quick answer is if you are getting more in trade in value than your current truck is worth and you are lowering your interest rate, then it is a good deal.

Assuming that you are currently in a 60 month loan financing $18,500 ($27,500 sticker - $9,000 down) with a payment of $414 a month you are paying about 13%. (Note I did not assume that you meant a $36,500 sticker with $9,000 down on the original truck because the sum of the 60 payments is just short of $25,000 which would mean negative interest)

If Mario is going to let you finance $14,000 over 36 months and only pay $358 a month do it in a second. $14,000 at 0% is a payment of $389 a month, so you are GETTING interest, not paying on that deal. Most likely that $358 number is only good for a 48 month loan which translates into 11%.

Don't know about the Boston area, but 13% or 11% are too damn high to be paying for a new vehicle of any kind. In retrospect, looks like you have already been fvcked
