How come we never see paramutuals to wager on?

I ask this question about twice a year, in hopes that a sportsbook will read it and reply......they have yet to respond.

I think it would be a nice option to wager on certain events much as we do on horses.

You could have "which team scores the most points?" in the NFL each Sunday. Set up the "betting windows" 45 minutes prior to the kickoff of the early games, and make the wagering on just those games. People could make WPS bets, or do exotics, just like at the track. The odds would have to be constantly updated like a horse race, but I think it would be a fun option to have.

There is no downside for the books, as they get paid no matter what happens. That being the case......why don't we see any?

Perhaps it wouldn't have a big following, but chances are, it would. WSEX must make a nice haul on their "interactive" wagering, and this would be similar to that.

Would you guys try a wager like that? Let em know.
