hellah is hello, but more slang. At football practice, instead of saying "hello" we would say "hellah". Then 10 is the number I wore at Toledo.

Mine is easy. I had to come up with a posting name at another site for an NBA forum I was in back in '98, and I had to come up with it rather quickly as I was invited to participate the day before the season started. I didn't want to post my real name. I therefore came up with SixFive = Six feet Five inches tall = my height. I didn't want to post as a number (65), so I spelled it out. What can I say, I have no creativity skills, lol! Good thread, I've often wondered the same thing about various nicknames. I'm going to start a similar thread about signatures if one hasn't been done in a while.

Very simple. My name is Raymond, and I was born in 1975. It could be worse, I could have a chatroom handle like 12 inch coldcut combo or VanDammage4u.

Was a pretty solid tackler in my rugby career. The boys said I was like running into a brick wall so they all called me Brick

You HAVEto be kidding!

No shit....I was going to start this exact same thread today!

I took my nick for two resons:

A song title from my favorite rock group. (Rush)

and it's short, and avoids lengthy log-ins!

Have wondered the same thing myself. I recently changed my name on the few forums I post on cuz I wanted to make it the same across the board. The name is pretty self explanatory. I will watch and follow just about any sport that is on TV, much to my wife's dismay.

I got the idea for the name from a radio show here where I live (also syndicated) that is called the Sports Junkies.

I've heard about your reputation!

That being said, I thought your name would be

"Hand-ers"!
