Ever just feel like Choking the sh@t out of someone? Or maybe Going "Postal"? How do you guys deal with Stress?

I used to go get Screwed Up on Drugs or Alcohol, and I mean couldn't Talk or Walk Screwed up! But I have since stopped getting that drunk and quit all the Drugs. Today has been Just the Day that used to drive me to Drinking ( like a Liter of the hard stuff between now and say 9pm )! Don't get me wrong, I still drink, Just not everyday and so heavily! But I'm seeing probably six or eight going down real smooth in about an hour!

You know the old saying it's like Monday all over again, Well Today has been Monday-Friday Rolled into one Fuhking Day!

to deal with the stress

to deal with the stress

masturbation is the key my man. Rip the head off, spank little johnny behind the ears, beat the bishop, whip the wire, slam the gland, choke the chicken, flip the minnow, put a sock on the rock!, shoot for tuna, make Miracle Whip, spray the glass (heard that one in Sweden from the sex shows), make mark spitz, pound the pud, do a pig pull, drop the kids off at the pool.............whatever you may call it:D It still is and always will be Mans Best Friend. If masturbation was an Olympic event I would be on the frickin Wheaties box with about twenty- three golds....and I am about as carefree as they get my man............turn on the Cheet-os channel and get after it brother....you would be very surprised at how well a Kleenex listens to your problems as they wash away...

Fatdaddy, that reply helped my stress level, just a good laugh helped!

Freeze, I usually try to keep the endprphin levels up a couple a times a week! Either push ups, pull ups and aerobics of some kind! your right it helps!

I guess I need to tell meyself some jokes instead of wasting them on other people!:D

I either go rub one out, or pop in one of my old Italian horror flicks where the acting and FX are so bad I burst out laughing every time. If anyone ever feels like crap go rent the movie City of the Walking Dead, a.k.a. Nightmare City. Quite possibly the funniest schitt you will ever see:D

on the contrary yyz,

on the contrary yyz,

seems to be appropriate in both applications to me, but have heard it in reference taking a crap, none the less, making a fountain from the mountain still helps the stress level

bluemound,

go blow $100 bucks on one of those stand up punching bags...two to three minutes of non-stop punching and or kicking at full-tilt, you'll be so damn tired you won't remember/care why you're stressed!!

fatdaddy...those were good!! the funniest/most original i've ever heard..."shaking hands with the unemployed" and "hitchhiking under the bigtop"!

i used to have a cat here but every time i lost a bet or was stressed i would go kick it.......finally got rid of the cat because that was surely not healthy and have resorted to exercise.....starting to feel much more at ease......run in morning and when i get home i go to exercise room at apt. and lift a little and treadmill and bike.......feel very good at night and sleep easy.....eating more healthy too really helps.....mix in a salad at lunchtime and lay off the caffeine a bit........limit drinking and that will help too.....drinking your worries away just compounds things mentally for you in the morning....alcohol doesn't help brain out too much and drains water from your system too......hope this helps you out and you feel better

A serious responce to your question is working-out,good cardio workout or a good deep tissue massage.I also find working out with my wife in the bedroom to be a good way of relieving stress.Whatever you do don't ignore it.Stress buildup is not healthy.Take care of it.

Guys I appreciate all the advice! I was mainly looking for a little vent, I get so worked up at work and sometimes just have to let Loose a little Anger!

Hey Freeze! What kind of Dr. are you going to be? I was gonna go to vet school until I got burned out on school and said to hell with anything besides a BS. I now wish I had stayed! Ever need to Rap about anything medical, I love the topic and would love to test my knowledge on some questions!

As per the comment....

As per the comment....

"Dropping the kids off at the pool".....

That's been known in my neck of the woods as taking a shat. The "jerking off" version of that is...
making sewer babies

This one is easy

you need to cool off

reach for an icepack, lie down, and turn on your favorite talk show

headache - icepack
backache - icepack
muscle pull - icepack
toothache - icepack

one more point-
there is an epidemic of depression/ anxiety disorder
there are lots of meds out there
recommend Celexa if things are really bad (40-80mg a day)

According to the Surgeon General:
1 out of every 5 people will suffer from depression in the next 6 months

also heard it referred to as

also heard it referred to as

sending the swimmers off the high dive, waxing the wang, herding the hog, salting the steak, and a million other things too many to think of right this second but I must say hitchhiking under the hightop is a good one....hard to beat that one (no pun intended) but that still doesn't take away from the fact that it is a great stress reliever...God's little gift from him to you...although kicking the cat sounds tempting, I used to have a cat when I lived in an apartment on the North Side of Chicago, had hardwood floors and the little pussy would roll that little bell ball around the fawking place all nite long...was the girlfriends (now wife) cat too and she didn't even live there yet, and the dumb bastard used to sit on the window sill above my head in the morning and meow after keeping me up all night with the devil ball.....so when the wife wasnt there I took the screen out that night, that night....roll, roll roll, ding ding ding....next morning meow meow meeeeeee............ out the friggin window the little crumb snatcher went...meowed all the way down....friggin thing was satan...showed up at my door next day....I had to move...hate that cat...little son of a b*tch still sh*ts in my house, weighs 22 lbs and the wife loves him, leaves turds the size of a buick....geez
