lots of ways starting out, most named the most important items. I cap every game and every conference, but i've been doing it for 20 years. When starting out, most important to stay within the means of afford-ability. You can go on line and bet 10. a game and it won't hurt. Don't chase by betting up! Follow one conference at first, say one you live by. Watch satellite and coaching interviews and player interviews, as you can learn allot about players and injuries and changes in starters and coaching tendencies. I look at point differential mostly and line differences of anything over or below 4 points. Anything i post will have a line error to me and how i cap. There might be 70 games but if only 2 have a 4 point difference, they are the only ones i play. DISCIPLINE is the most important factor. Another that no one touched on was do not pay attention to services only to trend them or fade them. Pay no attention to phone calls from people who say they have bought games or have inside info. They will take your money and not talk to you after a week of losers. There are around 5 descent capers on this site for baskets, more for football. Stay away from all people who print they won in 5 inch letters , they'll be gone in a month or two. Don't be afraid to ask questions from capers or ask for opinions on games. The more information you have the better prepared you are to make a educated decision. treat it like a business. you have to put the time in. Then after a while of playing, you will know what things stick out when your looking at stats, trends, road, and home lines, etc. Some guys put out allot of info on games and they know their conferences pretty well. listen to them and research those games and if you like it thats a start. Never bet a game if you don't like it. Never blame anyone else for your loses. Always listen to CLEM , just don't beat your wife or dog. Wish you success, it won't be easy, ARROW
