Do you guys put in your bets mondays or tuesdays soon after the football lines come out or do you guys wait and see how things progress, line wise and team wise during the week and end up betting later like on friday or saturday????
How early do you guys put in your football bets?

Totally depends on the game. Common theory is to take a fave early in the week and a dog late because usually the public backs favorites more than dogs (public also generally backs overs).
For week 1, for example, I played New England and Washington right away because I figured no way would SD go to -3.5 or higher and no way would the Bengals be a fave. I added Indy today because the first line I saw was PK, but then most books now have -1, so I wanted the PK. I am waiting to bet Miami because they are a Sunday night underdog so I am hoping the public gets behind TEN. Just my two cents for what that is worth.

I like to bet whenever I have a buzz, which during the fall can be rather frequent.

If I were a good capper I'd play into opening lines, particularly on favs, for the reasons sighted then let dogs rise. But I need a little feedback and time so I play most on FRIDAY to take advantage of AcesGold's special, and now GameDay as well, when in doubt +100 is the way to go, IMHO!
