With the Rams and the Patriots playing a lot of common opponents this year I hoped find a nugget of wisdom by comparing those games. The Rams were 7 and 1 and the Pats 7 and 2. Both Patriot losses came too early in the year to carry much weight.
What I did learn from the exercise is that the Patriots belong on the same field as the Rams.
With that being said the 14 point spread is way too high.
But, so much depends on who is the Patriots QB. So far Bradys stregnth, the short game, is Bledsoes weakness.
In light of the QB question I say take the Pats with the points and, because of the value, make another play half as big on the Pats with the Money Line.
I have the Pats at 10-1 and the Rams at even money. I will be adding a teaser, Pats and the Under.
