How ironic....

I was watching the news the other night, they were talking about kids spending too much time in the house, and being glued to the computer.....health problems from little exercise and few friends...blah, blah, blah....

Then, not even five minutes later they bring out a story of some kid living in the south who went outside and got West Nile from a mosquito bite...

Obviously, not funny that the kid got some disease.....but I had to laugh at the two stories colliding like that..... :wtf:

You know, I'm pretty happy that in this day and age of Xbox games, the internet, and a zillion cable tv stations my kids spent more time outside riding thier bikes and swimming than they did in the house this summer.

They head back to school this week and I kinda hate to see them go as much as I hated going myself.
