How long to receive check?

How long does it take to receive a check from a book? I was just told that it would be three weeks. I know that we are post neteller and all that, but just a couple of weeks ago I requested a check from thepig and got it in four days. Are certain books just a little slower due to location or whatever?

I've never heard it taking that long to get a check. Most places will use the couriers like FedEx, even if you have to pay the $15 or whatever they charge, so less than a week is usually about par for the course.
Will be interesting to see when it was actually mailed.

The better books will have you the check in 1-3 days.

I have heard of checks taking 2+ weeks but I would never wait that long.

Personally the book I use, I get the check the next day using FED-EX.

Get mine (Fed Ex) from 5 Dimes usually in 2 days 3 at the most

my book sends it UPS (no charge once a month) $40 fee for any additional withdrawls within 1 calander month. Usually get it within 5-7 days.
