Just got back from the course and played three days this week fortunately. When you get there, you grab your own clubs out of clubhouse basement, put on a cart, cart boys sanitize steering wheel, seats, etc. in front of you, you go play golf. 1 person per cart, we had 27 guys today for our weekly game. Played the game, and when we came in, each sat at outdoor patio tables very spread out. Can't eat in, but can order take out. Called out the scores, front and back and total winners, trash, and side bets. Our "Commissioner" wrote on sheet of paper the "damages" of each guy, and everyone venmoed each other what was owed. Commish paid out all the other game payments the same way. No one touches money, and all within the Georgia Governor rules. Truly did not come within 6-10 feet of another person all day.

Anyone else have same fortunate circumstance where they golf?

I played Tuesday and here in S Fl courses close one day, open another......It's really confusing. The courses are open with 1 player per cart here for now. I will prob play a couple of times next week if they continue to open the courses and it so therapeutic when I do play. Nothing more relaxing to me...... Hit um straight Chuck!

Iowa courses are open as of today. Haven?t got out and the weather isn?t supposed to be very nice next week.
Friend from golf league played yesterday. Said course was packed and the idiots weren?t the least concerned about anything but were bitching about the clubhouse being closed and no beverage carts being out. Nor were they observing the 6 foot rule that business that?s still open is enforcing
Think I?ll stay away until May at the earliest. And by then iowa may have joined the rest of the country in shutting things completely down and i won?t have to decide if it?s safe to play or not.

I?ve played 3 times this week, similar to your experience. Our club is walking only or one to a cart, don?t pull any pins, no rakes in bunkers. If you?re in a foot print, improve your lie, otherwise play it as it lies. My usual game has 16-24 guys show up, we?ve had 36-40 every day this week. One guy collects buy-in via Venmo at the start, all scores posted in golf genius app, he pays everybody back by Venmo. The hardest part for me is not shaking hands after round on 18 green, love the traditions of the game.

Cheers! :toast:

Very nice!!! Glad to hear others are getting to experience same thing. :0008

By the way, no touching pins or rakes either, just improve in trap.
