Alright, I got 16 college football plays for this week that look pretty good. I'm trying to figure out if I should narrow it down to the 5 best or stay with 16. I'm new to gambling, but I'm leaning towards the flat betting technique rather than the bet 1-5 unit route. If I can hit 55% thats making at least some $ with flat betting.

Are you guys who are betting 1-5 units actually able to come up with those lock plays, or do they end up just being "55%" picks like all the rest?

Wow you have said a mouthfull there jc. My advice just from first approach is yes cut down on your plays. No way you can effectively cap 16 plays and win. Get it down to your best 3-5.

We are all in a big muddle over who has the biggest unit in here.
If you stick around I will teach you the Throw it Down principle. I believe in that with all my heart and soul. Me and Jessy from Mexico do anyways.

Good luck !

jc76.....First off, if you're new to gambling, I would highly recommend NOT varying your wagers from 1-5 units. There's no way a 5 unit play gives you an edge that is 5 times greater than a 1 unit play. Some would argue with me, but from personal experience and a mathematical point of view, there's no play that warrants it.

As far as your number of plays go? That's kinda a tricky question to answer. If you can legitimately handicap a larger number of games and still hit at a % that will make you money, sometimes your better off having more plays.......Just as long as you stay within your basic money management rules and stay disciplined.

Here's an example:

Say you hit 55% over the course of 250 bets (laying 1.1 to win 1)
This will net you +13.7 Units!

Say you cut down your plays so you are hitting 60%, but because of this, you have only made 50 bets. Well, 50 bets at 60% will only net you +8 Units!

Hope you see where I'm coming from here and hope this helps some.

Good luck to you this weekend :D
