Up till now never had issues sleeping. Could crash on the floor if needed sometimes. My wife hates it soon as my head hits the pillow OUT!!

I get good sleep on weekends....during the week maybe 5-6 hours a night because of work

The problem with booze is that it will make me go to sleep but I'll wake up in a couple hours wide awake and the sleep is not restful. A good night's sleep for me is 5-6 hours straight without interruption which is rare. If they sold this kind sleep, I'd buy the whole lot and then some! :142smilie

I used to take ambien and I did some things in the middle of the night that scared me, like driving to the store, posting here and didn't remember until the next day, late night whataburger runs, etc....so I quit taking them 4 or so years ago and went through withdrawals for a few weeks:facepalm: whatever you do don't take ambien

I sleep about 7 hours a night during the week and 8 on wknds, no caffeine after 11am and no drugs now

Im replying to this at 3:45 am

That should answer the question

Fell asleep around midnight after restless tossing and woke up around 2 to piss...fell asleep about 20 minutes then woke up who knows why....will probably fall asleep once more but im usually always done trying around 6AM and just get up.....every single night....usually because of this ill have one day randomly where i sleep majority of night because my bodies exhausted

I have anxiety pretty severe

Never knew it was a disease capable of pretty intense physical symptoms until I was struggling with it myself

Also i go cycles of healthy living and then eating whatever....a healthy diet has always provided better sleep....

But typically i get maybe 4 hours of sleep and its miserable....hope you figure out something that works for you

as many as possible :142smilie

i use L-theanine. first i used it just like caffeine, stay awake and focused.
but i noticed that when i'm using l-theanine i sleep less but better and when i wake
up i feel rested already not sleepy at all.

i measured sleeping with hb-sensor and phones sleeping apps: hb was way lower
and rem sleep periods were longer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theanine

if you can try using sleeping app that wakes you up right part of the sleeping rythm.
usually it varies +-? hours from actual time you set alarm (most apps give you option
to set this time window).

i hope you find solution
