I was looking at a game on two differant books. One had the game as +5.5 (-102) and the other had it at +6 (-110). I believe that +6 with a little extra juice is the better bet, but was wondering what the value of a half a point or whole point is?
the books basically tell you the value on -110 lines as a basic rule,
A customer can buy ? to 3 points on Football spread or Total. Each ? point is an extra $.10. There is an exception when buying on and off the 3 in NFL, there is an extra $.20 per ? point.
Example:
Before buying ? point Colts - 6 -110
After buying ? point Colts - 5? -120
