2nd Round Plays

Luke Donald OV/Shaun Micheel-1.80

Els tried to come back at the end. Hit the Woods Play, that was a good hit for me. Covered the others.

dear dear

for the semis, Casey should be too strong for Monty, who struggled today and he is the oldest competitor in the field - 36 holes a day is too much for him.

I also like Micheel to take Karlsson, altho the Swede played well on Thursday he wasn't so good today and Micheel has been the steadier player for me. He should be very confident having disposed of both Woods and Donald.

Monty was beat before he started today.

Difficult call tomorrow, all the pressure will be on Casey....Ryder Cupper, US issues, home crowd, and I can't believe he's as low as 4/9 on.
The value is surely on Micheel at 6/4 [bet365] who has beaten the better form players, and done it under more pressure. Casey has no great singles record with a played 1 lost 1 in Ryder Cup, and I think will be more fragile if Micheel can put him under any pressure.

I'll be laying Micheel if I can cos I have him at 125/1 from the start, but he's the value.
