A lot of you guys know I do not post many of my plays, but when I see a good one I will post.

St. Louis/Pittsburgh OVER 6

Let's look at the spring training figures for these 2 starting pitchers.

LIRIANO.....0-3....ERA 6.08....13.1 innings...19 hits...9 earned runs..... .322 average against...WHIP 1.58

WAINWRIGHT....0-2....ERA 4.80...15 innings...19 hits...8 earned runs... .302 average against...WHIP 1.67

Somebody let me know if I am missing something here.

Good luck fellas:toast:

I would check the wind direction as well... SP's numbers matter, but wind is likely blowing in Strong based on the numbers I am seeing and line movement on total. Still like your ERA figures for pitchers... think Pirates take a 4-2 type win I hope!:0074, but 5-3 is fine as well if you wager on Over!

According to the Baseball Analyzer app, the wind is blowing straight out it center at 12 mph. This was at 11:50 eastern time. I have no experience with this app, so take it for what it's worth. GL to all.

If Cards can get their offense going we have hit Liriano before, but at this point I don't have a good feel for the team. Our pitching----I'm holding my breath this season. Waino hasn't been the Waino of old, Wacha-jury still out if he gets his mojo back. I think Martinez will be a bright spot, along with Mike Leake.

Would love to prove the WS odds wrong, as I don't believe the Cubs are even in the WS.

Long season ahead, usually very excited about my boys, but not so much yet. Gotta show me..........BOL to everyone.:toast:

Already played the over on this one on Thursday, as Waino has had over a 4.00 this spring. Rosie has been way off, and Pirates can hit our pitching and manufacture runs.

if there is a play on the weather it would be in kansas city.

wind straight out to center = 22 mph

air pressure and humidity = conducive to long ball

66-67 degrees

Mike Leake addition was SOLID! Dude can pitch. Cards will be there in the end...they always are. But, this division is pretty loaded. Cubs, Pitt and Cards will be battling it out all season barring major injuries of course
