Huge Poker Tournament right here at madjacksports

We had this years ago at pokerstars and it was successful and a lot of fun.

A series of weekly tournaments over a 12 week period.

I'm talking $10 buyin weekly. Points are awarded to the top 3 finishers each week. The ones with the most points after the 12 weeks go to a final table. The final table will have great prizes.

There will be additional prizes weekly for busting certain players, etc. A fun thing.

The worst that could happen is you lose $120 over a 12 week period. If you go 12 weeks playing a weekly poker tournament and don't finish in the money a few times, YOU SUCK! :facepalm:

Let's get 50, 60, 70, 100 players and have a big prize pool at the end.

I'll do it. Just needs to start at 8 pm PST for me to be able to play, so that will probably be a problem for the east coasters. My work schedule always changes, so a specific day won't help.

We did it before and you're right, scheduling the day and time will be tough.

It's possible, if we get enough players, that we have a west coast start time and an east coast start time. Please post your preferred day and start time and I'll keep track of the responses.

Then we could have MJE vs MJW for the finals.

You can ask anything you want. I'll have all that finalized in the next week.

Sounds like fun. I may have to miss a tourney or two while on vacation. Hopefully that won't hurt my chances too much. Maybe we can eliminate the bottom two results or something...

Let's say we go with 12 weekly tourneys. It'll be scored something like 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place gets 6 points and 3rd place gets 3 points. At the end of the regular series we'll take the best 5 scores from everybody or the best 8 scores, whatever. I'll have this tweaked to perfection. But, it affords people the opportunity to miss some of the weekly contests without being penalized too badly, or at all.

Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
