8 Episodes ~ 30 minutes each.

Overview: An award winning chef returns home to Chicago to take over his family restaurant after a family tragedy,

Whatever the highest score is you can give a TV drama, I'll give it to this. I heard people say they sat down for one episode and ended up binging the whole season in one night.....now I know why. Episode 7 is intense.

I’ll give it a shot— I Watch very little scripted TV. Finally got to the end of Ozark so looking for another one to start

Watched the 1st episode last night. I’ll likely watch the 2nd, but it had better improve in a hurry for me to watch any more of it.
I did like the fact that they shot some actual street scenes of Chicago. And the music was solid. Can’t go wrong with some Wilco.
After that… I need to see another episode before commenting further.

I liked the bear. Watched 2 episodes
at a time. Episode seven was kind of weird. I thought the sous overacted there. She doesn’t impress me as an actor. The end of the season finale was a bit odd. I I think I understand, but certainly wasn’t clear ….won’t comment on specifics on here since others will watch.

I hearya. I used to watch almost no television, but for 2 to 3 years now I have. Part of it is I’m less interested in sports, part of it i don’t really go out almost at all during the week anymore. There is some quality content out there. I’ve definitely enjoyed variety of shows I never would’ve thought I’d enjoy, or even started watching years ago.

I enjoyed Game of Thrones. Breaking bad. The wire. Ray Donovan. Homeland. Better call Saul.

A few others are escaping me at the moment, but I’ll post Later and I’m sure I remember a few more.

Are you talking about the series from a long time ago starring Ted Danson?
If so,
It’s hard to be much lamer than that shitty show.

Sorry redsfan, my bad. The name of the show is Reacher. It is on Amazon prime. He is one tuff man.

Most of these are a few years old and I’ve seen a few of them. For my money, The Wire is the finest show ever to be seen on the small screen.
Really enjoyed breaking bad and better call Saul. Haven’t seen game of thrones or homeland. Started Donovan but didn’t get very far and that’s the case with many series over the last few years.
My TV watching really dropped when my kids reached middle school age. They’re involved in everything it seems so I’m at things 4 nights a week and I bowl on Wednesday’s. Then the weekends it’s football and hockey season so there’s the bulk of my TV time— at least during the school year.
