Gentleman, the huskers may not cover this, this would be of no surprise to most of you though. However, the real play seems to be the over. The offense began to get on track last week vs. A&M, and a few breaks and the offense pushes the over easy.
This Husker offense won't keep underachieving, the defense will, but the offense won't. If any of you have seen my two previous posts I had large wagers against the huskers last two games and :00hour I am feeling good about my stack. However, the Horns will probably cover too, but the new running back tandem of Helu Jr. (freshman with speed) and Castille (freshman with power) might get on track this week and make a little noise. You know one thing will be for sure that this team can afford to take a lot more chances! The over/under has come down from the two previous weeks, (68.5, 61) to now 58, so this really looks like a value bet, besides the right play with the husker defense on the road, the past 4 years under Callahan is pitiful. The main problem is they don't make adjustments at halftime and the second half is usually a blow out. I look at this game several times and compare this team to the year the huskers were being ran on over and over again in 2001 I think, the year where Colorado ran for huge chunks of yardage just right up the gut time and time again.
Horns win 47-20. I think they cover as well, but the real play is the over. The over/under should be around 65-68 range. Even though the last two weeks, the teams called off the dogs on the Huskers, the Horns are a struggling team as well and this piling it on will be a big confidence booster to the team morale.
GL this weekend, and sure wouldn't mind hearing from a few guys on this one (cie, sun, #, and CHUCK LUCK!)
