Here is a thread devoted to anyone who is willing to see the blatant hypocrisy that exists now between the two major political parties in the US today.

For example,

--Bush shoving the Patriot Act down our throats using fear as an excuse. Obama shoving this Stimulus Package down our throats using fear as an excuse

--I am waiting for: Democrats saying that the War in Iraq is lost. Republican hard-liners prematurely saying the Stimulus Package is a failure. (Full disclosure: As a libertarian, I think this stimulus is an unprecedented and dangerous intrusion into the free market...and for what its worth, I think Bush somehow was able to ruin the name of free market capitalism while not even coming close to practicing its principles...compassionate conservatism is the biggest load of horse shit that has been promulgated upon the American people in 20 years)

--Filibusters. Republicans would bitch about Democratic filibusters, now I assume the opposite will take place, which is bullshit.


Anyone who is naive enough to think that either party cares about liberty; what America was founded upon, is a complete jackass.
Many will tell me that I am naive to believe that any party besides the Republicans/Democrats would be able to assume any sort of power and use it wisely to change America for the better. And they may be right.
But I can not participate in a perpetuation of this hypocritical soap opera that the Republicans and Democrats put on every single day.

Anyway...if anyone would care to add to this thread...I would love to be reinforced daily that my loathing for these power hungry dishonest bastards is well founded.

at least we have been free from terrorists for a month under Obama.

the stimulus may be unprecedented but without it America could go right down the shitter into a severe depression with no jobs , no bank accounts, and inflation where money is worth nothing.

Of course the neocons here freeze, dtb, gw to name a few would simply love that.

Why is it u righties have a problem with spending money in this country and putting our people back to work? Strangest thing i ever saw. Im sure the people getting extended unemployment benefits in this rough time has an equally bad taste in ur mouth. Would u rather this money go to Iraq, the Pharmaceuticals, and oil companies like it did before? Why do u righties have such a problem with the working people in this country? Hey maybe one of those people who got extended unemployment benefits might come in ur shop and spend it. I think that is how stimulus works.:shrug:

Give the money to the fuking people who will spend it this time and not some billionaires who don't need a tax cut.

i hear you,tofeco....ya` gotta admit,though...the greatest stroke of genius in the recent election(maybe recent american history) was the substitution of "change" for the word "revolution.".....

one word, skillfully chosen, enabled an (initially) bloodless coup......

and with more and more media(fairness doctrine) control...and soon control of banks and the auto industry...then healthcare..taking away all guns.....we`re screwed...

the next thing you`ll hear is the abolition of presidential term limits(ala hugo chavez)......

that`s when it`s time to pick up stakes and head somewhere else..that is,if they`ll let productive citizens leave(a dwindling commodity in a socialist/marxist state)...

I do not think I am one sided. Maybe in politics I am when it comes to supporting the President and standing up for America .

Maybe a Lil' off subject, but what foes a son in law in the NFL have to do with Obamas color or race--is your son in law colored or Hispanic, because obviously by your mentioning of it he's not caucassion.

and a for Cali and NJ getting alot if the "pork" benefits-check into the numbers of what was spent by those states in backing this war during Bush years, NJ was one of the top spenders if not mistaken, so after raping the state it's only right to plump it back up. The cool part will be to see if these crooked bastids on power writing the checks and fishing the dollars actully use it on infastructure or what have you in the state itself.
