I actually attended a game at the famous Melbourne Cricket Grounds in November.... sat by some Aussies that took the time to explain the game to me and my wife and answered all my questions. Was able to get my hands on both a bat and a ball and see what they were like (one of the players came over and let me see them). Very cool sport once one understands it. If I lived there, I'm sure I'd be a big fan of both cricket and Australian Rules football.......

Your other main option there is soccer - and who the hell can watch that??!?!?:mj07:

Awesome... I loved the whole Maori and Haka thing too - ended up being an authentic All Blacks jersey and hat.

New Zealand is amazing - actually preferred it to Australia in a big way.....

I'll watch any gm if I have a bet on it and at 1st I thought that was your predicament !!

Many years ago when I was a young fellow I'm sitting around with a group of guys (gamblers) and the only football game playing that day was over. I called my local bookie that we all bet with and asked him what action he had going off.He says the day was over unless we wanted to bet on the camel races that were getting ready to come on on the wild world of sports.he says you guys can pick a camels number he would cover the bet even money up to a dime.LOL ....so we all picked number 4 I don't know why but we bet a dime
On a camel race...and lost...degenerate f...ing gamblers....LOL
