I will clench my teeth and resist temptation. I will attempt to win 10 games (MLB) in a row.I will also attempt to double my $$ with each win, i.e 1,2,4,8,16,32...etc... I will play 1 game per day. The best game on the board in my opinion. The proceeds from each game will be placed on the following game the next day.
If this one wins. Then its 242.00 on tomorrows game. Look out

Well talk about a kick in the nutz. STL won tonites game 2 times! Led 2-1 in 9th then when trying to turn 2 to end it, the collision occurs. 2-2, then 4-2 in 10th and MR Crap Benes gives up 2 hrs...4-4, after this i figured that i was due to lose, it was inevitable. Too much had gone wrong for me to win, and thus I was right, Griffey stuck one on the chops.

Well I am going to restart this as this was unexpected to say the least.

Yeah, I am going to do this. I am going to form a ladder with this. If all goes well from a 130.00 start by the end of day it could be "juicy" (If all goes well)
smile.gif

Cubs (Early Game) -130 (Void) DNP
130.00 to win 100.00

Marlins (Mid Game) -120 (Played)

And...Angels (Late Game) -140

Sorry, I was out and didnt have time to repost, I didnt play the Cubs. I repeat, I didnt play the Cubs. I was damn close though and I am not saying this b/c they already lost. But I just couldnt lay on a slumping team going against a team picking up steam and once I saw Quevedo's ERa last 3 starts i was off Cubs. THe Marlins are still a play. and the streak is still ineffect.

Keep trying, we are all rooting for you.

Personally, I will be very interersted to see if your nerve will hold if you put 8 or 9 wins together......will you go for the full stake??

This reminds me of something that happened in LV a few years ago. A few cocktail waitresses put up $100 each and decided to pick one game a week in the NFL and put all their winnings on week after week. Well, all went well for the first eight weeks (I think they started with $500). They would all meet on a Sat afternoon and agree on a pick for the following day.

(I think Stupak agreed to take this bet as long as they bet with him every week!!).

So, on week 9 (I just happened to be in Vegas that weekend), they picked the Bears -7 over the Dolphins at Soldier Field. It was icy and snowy in Chicago, and Marino, for all his greatness has a terrible record in such conditions. FWIW, I completely agreed with the pick.

They put it all on Da Bears ($128,000).

Well, wouldn't you know it, the Dolphins actually won the game!! I think all this happened in '91 or '92.

Gravy, I hope you get into that position and hold your nerve like these women did.
