Lots of games that don't mean anything, seen too many years of teams just goin through the motions and don't really want to put a hurting or get hurt..May sound a little strange, but well true.
As to the games that do mean something, I can see both sides playing Hard on the'D' and a little on the 'soft' side when they have the ball. Sure a few teams are going to be airing it out ,But I think UNDER is the way to look at the entire card.Totals have been very kind to me this year, just hope to finish strong.
Good luck and I would'nt go too wild on my plays tomorrow.....Spanky...

Spanky: Your theory sounds good, but I saw a post on another site discussing this same point. They had stats for the last 2 years.
The average points per game for the first 16 weeks was about 41. The average points per game for the 17th week the last 2 years was 45-46 (I'm doing this from memory, but it was about 4 points higher the last week of the season.) The conclusion was to go over the total every game.

with teams that are trying out new talent I guess you must determine which talent shows they deserve a job next season, the offensive guys or the defensive guys. also a few games may have been particularly high in the last week to skew that total. I remember a StL/Phi meaningless game 2 years ago scored like 71 points, I seem to recall a good deal of specific high games as opposed to most games going over. In the few 'playoff' style games, defense usually rules the game so. I would think viewing the entire card does show an overall tilt to under, but the ones that go over may fly over. I wouldn't be surprised to see the highest total on the Pit/Cle game. this is definately a week to be careful of as playoffs are next week and there will be more value to be found in those matchups.

Man, that under tonight just seemed too easy,as many, many people said'the whole world is on the under.
Iexpect much of the same type score next week.It will be a solid under at about 34 as I see it right now. I also think Philly is mentally a better team and will win.It won't be an all-star game but I expect things to run Under once again as every inch will be fought for.
Good luck,until next week,Spanky....
