Vancouver at Dallas
so many people like the Canucks today in Dallas. I must be missing something here because I thought Dallas was the most dominate team in the league at home not to mention coming off a recent defeat should make this team very mad. I know the Nucks are a great road team but without both starters in the game the edge still go's to the Stars cause Tugnutt is better than Skudra or Auld in my mind. Dallas will stick their top checkers on the Naslund-Morrison-Bertuzzi line and if they are neutralized this will give Modano and company ample opportunity to romp around in the non-Ohlund Nucks zone tonight.
Dallas should win by a goal here as Detroit has now passed them and they will be looking to draw a little closer
Islanders and Rangers
The Rangers will have their last chance for a playoff surge and if they lose this one they will be out of it. A desparate home team here with the Rangers should prevail tonight. Glen Sather had it out with Lindros and Bure challenging both stars to pick up their games. If the Rangers lose tonight, they will be finished for their playoff hopes in my opinion. Desparate teams usually prevail in the end.
Edmonton at Nashville
The Oilers head to the road trying to go 10 points up on the Preds for the final playoff spot. Barry Trotz has said this is the biggest game in preds history and they must win. The preds will welcome back Andy Delmore tonight which is a huge key to their offensice and Power play production. The preds will win or tie tonight and keep their slim playoff hopes alive tonight at home.
Flyers at Devils
The defensively minded teams clash in a big matchup tonight in Jersy. The Flyers are a pair of points back now and will be primed and ready for a big victory or a tie on the road tonight. The Flyers now have ample offence in the lineup with Recchi, Primeau, Leclair, gagne, Amonte and Kapenen. The Devils will not be able to match the Flyers tonight and the hungry Flyers will win and tie the Devils for first setting up a terrific finish for the divisional title.
