Got a FireStick 4K that I jailbroke myself. Running Kodi and I?m using the Xanax build with IPVanish.
Not experiencing much, if any, lag while streaming live TV or watching a movie.
My question is do I need to add anything to my current setup? Is there another build you use that?s better than Xanax?
I?ve heard there are better VPNs than the one I?m using and I only paid for a month for that reason.
Talk to me, fellow cord cutters...

If you are going to cut the cord, just cut it. Don't replace it with the same garbage in a different wrapper.
Personally, I cut the cord a few months ago. I already had Amazon Prime, but added Hulu with Live TV and use the Amazon Firestick. I also have a backup ?antenna?. What did I get? All in all, more choices and far less cost per year.

how do you record shows for later view?

how do you get every NFL game..??

I cut the cord in January and have YouTubeTV and I am very happy with it for $49.99 a month. Loads of sports channels including local sports networks, that is what sold me on it! It also has all the local stations. I use ROKU to access it, except 1 of my TV's is a smart TV so I don't need the Roku. It also has an unlimited cloud DVR. The only channels it doesn't have yet that I wish it did are NFL Network and RedZone!

If you go to thier website and plug in your zip code it will tell you what channels you will get!!

Loads of sports channels and it has the local networks to watch NFL.

Satellite TV provider DirecTV has exclusive rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket package in the United States until the end of the 2022 NFL season.

can't expire soon enough !!!

hopefully a new deal will open the games via streaming games on a game to game desired basis.

I can never go total cut without the Viking games...Wife ain't going for that.

Great info Blitz..Thanks buddy.

I've seriously been considering cutting the cord. I don't watch it enough to justify. Too many other projects that occupy my time and when I get home I appreciate the quiet at night. Wanna get a Firestick as recommended by firesticktricks.

what about sports channels.

where do you get them from ?

particularly college football

I can watch most any major sporting event on the planet with my setup. College football is a bit more difficult as the devs on my app recently stopped putting up links all in the same place for college football, so I?ve got to dig sometimes.
Most of the time I?ll use a streaming site on the Brave browser and an HDMI cable running from my laptop to my big screen TV. Not easy to flip between games, but if a game is being broadcast, I can watch it.

Dumped the VPN quickly? no need for it if all you?re doing is streaming. I?m using an app that runs on Kodi that is known by its initials, BMC.
Google it. It?s a bit of a challenge to get it set up, but once you?re up and running it?s great.
